Change the Formatting of the Cells or the Table
After having created a table in a letter template, Taxprep Forms makes formatting options available. This way, you can work with borders and shadings to present easy-to-read tables to your clients.

To add borders to format a portion or all of a table, proceed as follows:
- Select the cell, group of cells or the table for which you want to change the formatting.
- Click
in the mini toolbar of the tables, then click one of the borders available.

To delete borders, proceed as follows:
- Select the cell, group of cells or the table for which you want to delete the boders.
- To delete all borders, click
in the mini toolbar of the tables, then click No Border.
To delete a border, click, then click the option that corresponds to the border that you want to delete.

Gridlines display the limit of the cells in the tables that have no border. The gridline only displays on the screen and does not print.
To show or hide the gridlines of a table, proceed as follows:
- Click in a cell in the table.
- Click
in the mini toolbar of the tables.

As a table can include several lines and columns, it may be interesting to make it easier to read by adding a colour shading. For example, you can shade the header line in a table so it is differentiated from the other lines in the table.
To add or modify the shading in a table, proceed as follows:
- Select the cell, the group of cells or the entire table.
- Click
in the mini toolbar of the tables, then click the colour that you want to use to shade.
To remove the colour of the shading, click No Color.
