Print a Group of Client Files

To print a group of client files, proceed as follows:

  1. From the Client Manager, select the clients whose (It could be a current-year return or a planner return.) file you want to print.
    You can use available filters to reduce the length of the list displayed in the Client Manager.
  2. On the File menu, click Print Tax Returns.
    Customize the printing of the client files by using the different printing options, if necessary. For example, if one of the selected client files contains a return that is not ready to be printed, for each client, clear the check box available under the appropriate jurisdiction.
    If you print planner returns, the "Planner" watermark is automatically activated when printing. However, you can deactivate printing of this watermark on each of the forms.

    If you want to print slips while printing client files, ensure that the selected print formats contain the print settings concerning the slips.
  3. Click OK.

When printing slips in a preprinted format, a warning message will be displayed when a change of paper is required in the paper tray being used, no matter if the warning message display is activated.

Also note that a warning message will display if the print in progress requires a change of paper format.

In order to have the list of clients whose returns have been printed, consult the print history.

Warning! Planner returns cannot be filed with the tax authorities because they do not contain an authorization number.
