Here is some helpful advice for creating secure passwords:
- Pay attention to the case (capital and lower-case letters) when creating a password, because Corporate Taxprep is case-sensitive. For example, if you enter “achilles” as a password for a client file, Corporate Taxprep will not recognize “ACHILLES” or Achilles.”
- The password must be between four and fifteen characters long and can include numbers, spaces, letters and accented characters.
- Choose a password that is easy to remember, but hard to guess.
- A password should be impersonal, without any particular significance, and should not be written or stored anywhere.
- Never give your password to another user.
