Change Status
In most situations, the return status is the only status that requires you to make changes. EFILE statuses and print statuses, are automatically assigned by Corporate Taxprep; you can always change them later.
Note: The EFILE statuses should be manually changed only under exceptional circumstances. Corporate Taxprep manages statuses automatically, even when a rejected return later becomes acceptable for transmission.
You can change a status from the active client file or the Client Manager.

On the File menu, click Properties.
- In the General tab, select the return status or EFILE status that you want to assign to the active client file.
- Click OK.

- In the Client Manager, show the properties pane.
- Select the client file whose status you want to modify.
- In the left area of the pane, select the status that you want to assign.
The status change will be automatically saved in the client file.

You can modify the status (and certain other available options) of many client files at the same time.
- In the Client Manager, select the client files for which you want to modify the properties.
- In the File menu, select Client File Properties.
The Client Files Properties dialog box displays. - Modify the status and, if required, the options available in the General tab of the properties.
- Click OK.
