EFILE INFO Form
Form EFILE Information (Jump Code: EFILE INFO) displays key EFILE data from the EFILE Log.
If you are a preparer with no access to the EFILE Log, this form will provide you with information concerning the transmitted return(s) for the active corporation as well as information required to correct the rejected returns (if applicable) for electronic transmission purposes.
Corporate Taxprep updates the information contained in this form when one of the following operations is performed:
- transmission of a return using the CIF service;
- transmission of supporting documents (T2 - Docs);
- transmission of a return using the Alberta Treasury Board Finance, Tax and Revenue Administration published Web service; or
- transmission of a return using the NetFile Québec or Clic Revenu service;
- transmission of an RC59 form;
- transmission of an RC59X form;
- transmission of an RC4649 form;
- transmission of a T106 Summary and slips;
- transmission of a T1134 Summary and supplements;
- transmission of a T1135 form; or
- receipt of an acknowledgement from a tax authority.
Note:You will receive immediate confirmation that the return has been received by the CRA (CIF), RQ (NetFile Québec or Clic Revenu) and TRA (Alberta Net File) for the active corporation’s tax return(s). Similarly, you will receive immediate confirmation following the receipt of the supporting documents (CIF), Form RC59,. Form RC59X, Form RC4649, T106 Summary and slips, T1134 Summary and supplements and/or Form T1135 by the CRA.
- For the electronic transmission of returns to the CRA: the most recent dates of acceptance or rejection (if applicable) of the return and the relevant confirmation numbers, as well as CIF error codes and their description;
- For the electronic transmission of supporting documents to the CRA: the most recent dates and hours of acceptance or rejection (if applicable) of the supporting documents, the relevant confirmation numbers, the error code of each of the rejected supporting documents, as well as CIF error codes and their description;
- For the electronic transmission of returns to the TRA: the most recent dates of acceptance or rejection (if applicable) of the return and the relevant confirmation numbers, as well as the Alberta Net File errors codes and their description.
- For the electronic transmission of returns to RQ: the most recent dates of acceptance and rejection (if applicable) of the return, the relevant confirmation numbers, as well as the NetFile Québec or Clic Revenu error codes and their description;
- Electronic transmission a T1135 form to the CRA: the most recent dates of acceptance and rejection (if applicable) of the form, the relevant confirmation numbers, as well as the CIF error codes and their description;
- For the electronic transmission of an RC59 form to the CRA: the most recent dates and times of acceptance or rejection (if applicable), as well as the CRA's error messages;
- For the electronic transmission of an RC59X form to the CRA: the most recent dates and times of acceptance or rejection (if applicable), as well as the CRA's error messages;
- For the electronic transmission of Form RC4649 to the CRA: the most recent dates of acceptance or rejection (if applicable) of the form, the relevant confirmation numbers, as well as the CIF error codes and their description.
