TaxprepConnect log
Immediately after a TaxprepConnect download, the program displays a download log. You can also display this log to view the results of a prior download for the client file. The download log contains the list of taxpayers for whom a download has been performed and provides, for all taxpayers, the results of the operation. It presents the following information:

The date and the time of the TaxprepConnect download. |
|
|
The name of the client file in which the downloaded data has been saved. |
|
|
For each error that occurred, the corporation's name, the source of the downloaded data as well as a brief description of the result obtained. |
Note: There is no limit to the number of logs kept for this type of operation.
Display a TaxprepConnect download log
Following a TaxprepConnect download, the program automatically displays the download log relating to the download performed. If you want to consult a download log concerning a prior download, proceed as follows :
- In the Tools menu, click TaxprepConnect Download Logs.
- In the Log displayed area, click the TaxprepConnect download log that you want to consult.
Click Print to print the log.
Note: From the Return view, you have access to all TaxprepConnect download logs of the corporation covered by the active return.
