Set Letter Margins

To set page margins for the active letter template, proceed as follows:

1. On the File menu, click Page Setup.
2. Enter the desired values for the left, right, top and bottom margins.
   The values correspond to the measure units set in the Windows regional settings.
   
3. Click OK.

If you often set the same margins when you create letter templates, you can define them as default values. To do so, proceed as follows:

1. On the Tools menu, click Options and Settings.
2. Under Client Letter, click Page Setup.
3. In the Default template margins area, enter the values for the left, right, top and bottom margins.
4. Click OK.

The default values that are set will be applied to any templates that are created. However, they will not affect the margins of existing templates.
