Show or Hide Diagnostics

You can show or hide diagnostics from the diagnostics pane or from a specifc cell:

To show or hide the diagnostics, perform one of the following:

  • In the Form Manager, open Form Diagnostics (Jump Code: DIAGNOSTICS).
    If the diagnostics pane is displayed, it will be docked to the frame window or undocked from this window, depending on the recently used option.
  • On the View menu, click Diagnostics, then select Dock or Float.
  • Press Alt+F5 to dock the diagnostics pane or press Alt+F6 to undock the diagnostics pane from the frame window.
  • Click the Diagnostics button available on the toolbar, then click Dock or Float.
Note: When the diagnostics pane is displayed, all active diagnostics will be shown and listed by diagnostic group. You can limit the display to only one group by selecting one of the tabs.To disable your customized diagnostics in the diagnostics pane, clear the Enable customized diagnostics box located under Tools/Options and Settings/Advanced.

To display diagnostics in a form, point to a cell with a diagnostics indicator and, after a short pause, the diagnostic will be displayed inside a tooltip.
