Print a Date
Several forms and client letters contain a cell for entering a date. For this type of information, you can set Personal Taxprep:
- To print the system date by default;
- To print another date than the system date or to leave the cell empty, in the case where you want to enter the date manually on the printed copy.
However, you can select any other date by selecting it when printing forms or returns.
How to print the system date by default
- In the Tools menu, click Options and Settings.
- Under Print, click General.
- In the Date area, select the Forms and schedules and Client letters check boxes if you want the date included in these documents.
- Click OK.
How to print a specific date
To print a specific date other than the system date when printing forms or returns, proceed as follows:
- From the appropriate manager, (this may be the Client Manager or the Form Manager) select the forms or returns that you want to print.
- On the File menu, click Print Selected Forms or Print Tax Returns.
- Select the Override date check box and indicate the desired date in the box.
- Click OK.
