Print a Header

Each page printed by Personal Taxprep has a space equivalent to two lines reserved for the optional printing of a header.

By default, the taxpayer name and his social insurance number are printed on each page's header.

The following information may be printed in each page's header:

• the file name
• the system date
• the system time
• any other customized text (up to 100 characters) or the name of the print format used, based on what is selected in the list.

How to print a header on each page

1. On the Tools menu, click Options and Settings.
2. Under Print, click General.
3. In the Header area, select the check boxes corresponding to the information you want to include in the header of each printed page.
   To print a customized header, select the Other check box, then enter the text that you want to print in the header (for example, the preparer's name).
4. Click OK.
