Québec residents must enter, if applicable, the amount of tax withheld by an employer outside Québec.
To do so, if the tax on the T4 or T4A slips was deducted by an employer located outside Québec but in Canada, you must check the applicable box on the appropriate slip. For all other cases, enter the tax amount to be transferred directly on line 43800 of the federal return.
