Adjust the Indentation and Spacing of a Paragraph
You can modify the indentation of paragraphs (to the right or the left of the surrounding text) as well as the spacing between the paragraphs.
Adjust the indentation of paragraphs
To change the indentation of paragraphs, proceed as follows:
- Select the paragraphs that you want to indent.
- To increase the indentation of the selected text, click
in the Letter Editor toolbar.

Adjust the spacing before and after a paragraph
To adjust the spacing before and after a paragraph, proceed as follows:
- Select the paragraph for which you want to adjust the spacing.
- Click
in the Letter Editor toolbar, then in the menu, click Add Space Before Paragraph or Add Space After Paragraph.
Tip: To customize the value of the indentation or spacing before or after the paragraph, right-click the mouse, then click Paragraphs.
