Filter Based on the Content of One Column
In certain views (such as the Form Manager or the Client Manager) , the table column headers have a menu containing a list of the items in this column; you can choose one of these items to filter the list and you can also define a filter with conditions based on the content of the column.
How to create a filter based on the content of one column
To create a filter with conditions based on the content of one column, proceed as follows:
- Display the appropriate view.
- Click
in the column whose content you want to use to filter the list, then click the Text Filters, Date Filters or Numeric Filters tab. - In the first drop-down menu, select the operator that you want to use to filer, then in the second drop-down menu, select a value.
- Click Close.
Tips :
- You can use the Values tab to select the value to use to filter from the column content.
- You can use the Custom filter operator to filter the content of a column using two different values.
How to cancel the filter application based on the content of a one column
To cancel the application of a filter based on the content of a column, proceed as follows:
- Click
at the lower left of the view. - Click
in the column where you want to cancel the application of the filter, then click All.
